Nami, Slovenia, around and around

I decided to write a blog about my travel across Japan. My sister and I decided to go to Japan for three months and research the country a little bit. Since this page is related to my Digimon Website, there will be a lot of Digimon content – since my plan is to write a little bit about the locations we can see in the Digimon franchise. If that’s why you are here, feel free to look around!

"Let us be lovely
And let us be kind,
Let us be silly and free.
It won't make us famous,
It won't make us rich,
But damnit how HAPPY we'll be."

Digimon Last Evolution Kizuna!
Wednesday, 28 October 2020 @ October 28, 2020

I finally watched it! I know the movie has been out for some time now - the one with the "SAMPLE 3" sign all over the screen and a lot of people have been watching it like this but I decided to wait for the original release day. Even though there were spoilers everywhere!

I know a lot of people hated the movie, like they did the Tri season and I kinda understand why, but I still liked the movie a lot. It was a bit of a shock to see them bit older and acting older - like drinking beer, watching "dirty" magazines. I really appreciated to see the 02 cast in the movie even though they were separated from the others.

And ending was actually just what I was expecting - sad at the time but since the 02 season ends with them back together with their Digimon partners let's pretend that Tai managed to solve how to bring their Digimon partners back!

Anyhow, I once again tried to locate all the real life locations we can see in the movie and pin them on the maps - you can find the link under "navigation".

I know I said it already many times but in 2017 I was in Japan for one month and I had a hostel in Nakano city and while searching for the real locations I realised a lot of things are actually happening in Nakano city or around. We can see the station and the street I was walking through at least twice a day for 2 weeks! I have to find the old pictures and see if I have some pictures of the scenery shown in the movie. Even though I didn't realise it till I started researching it it's a nice feeling to see a place you know in a Digimon movie.

It's almost November and I still didn't completely cancel my plans to visit Japan in March even though it doesn't look good. I'm still hoping that maybe this corona situation will go away soon. I was planning this trip for a long time and it sucks that I have to cancel it for I don't know how much time.

Okay, enough of my whining. Check the movie, it's a must! See you,
